Rover Mini Cooper Monte Carlo – 1994
Rover Mini Cooper Monte Carlo – 1994
A seriously rare and beautifully presented 1994 Rover Mini Cooper Monte Carlo, offered by Rev Haus Classics.
Built as a limited run of just 200 cars to commemorate 30 years since the legendary Mini rally victories of the 1960s, only 150 were finished in red, with just 50 produced in black — making this one of the rarest and most desirable examples.
Even more importantly, this particular car has been uprated by John Cooper Garages themselves to 78bhp Cooper S specification, with the supporting certificate and receipts included. This is a genuine piece of John Cooper Mini history.
History & Provenance
The car was serviced by John Cooper Garages Ltd until 1999, when it had covered just 25,000 miles, with 7 recorded services. The original service book contains 12 services in total, documented up to 43,000 miles.
The previous owner continued to maintain the car at home, and we have now carried out a full service using only the highest-quality service items.
The car comes with an exceptional history file, including:
- John Cooper Garages Ltd vehicle document wallet
- Original service book
- John Cooper Garages service history
- John Cooper Cooper S conversion certificate
- Receipts documenting the conversion and subsequent work
- Extensive paperwork covering the car's history and maintenance
- Numerous original brochures and period literature
- Approximately £13,000 worth of receipts for work and maintenance
There have been just 4 former keepers, with the last keeper owning the car for approximately 15 years and keeping it garaged throughout.
Condition
This Mini presents exceptionally well and has clearly been cherished. It has been recommissioned with plenty of new genuine parts.
The bodywork has been regularly undersealed, with any required bodywork professionally carried out using genuine parts. The underside is solid and rust-free, and the car has been exceptionally well maintained underneath as well as externally.
The paintwork is beautiful, and the engine bay presents superbly.
The original registration markings remain on the lights and windows, further supporting the originality of the car and the components that come with it.
Inside, the seats are in excellent condition, with only slight wear to the driver's bolster.
The car is fitted with a professionally installed electric Hollandia glass sunroof, adding to its usability without detracting from its classic character.
